Paul was a Chartered Psychologist in the UK and emigrated to the Sunshine Coast near Brisbane. He obtained a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology in 1998, and a PhD in Psychology in 2001 from Sheffield Hallam University, UK.

Paul's training experience includes teaching Psychology and BA Nursing undergraduates at Sheffield Hallam University. He has published papers in academic journals and presented a paper at an international conference on language and gender at Stanford University, California.

In his clinical work, Paul uses hypnotherapy, NLP, coaching, and EMDR. He works with a wide spectrum of issues, most often for low confidence and self-esteem, phobia, stress and sleeping problems. He is an approved supervisor with the Australian Hypnotherapists Association and General Hypnotherapy Register, UK.

His clinical qualifications are Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, Diploma in Hypnotherapy, Certificate in Hypnotherapeutic Supervision, EMDR Part 3, Master Practitioner of Timeline Re-Patterning and NLP Master Practitioner. He has trained in NLP Modelling with the one of the co-founders of NLP, John Grinder.

Paul is a Clinical Member of the Australian Hypnotherapists Association.

Karen completed her MSc Health Psychology in 2010. She completed her first degree in Psychology in 1998. Her work has been varied and wide ranging. After graduating, she initially worked as a lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University teaching undergraduate students on the British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited BSc Hons Psychology course and BA Nursing course (adult mental health route). She taught subjects such as health and abnormal psychology, research methods, biological foundations of behaviour and psychological development of the child.

For over 4 years, Karen worked as a graduate psychologist in the NHS, UK. She has experience of working with staff and patients within a large residential unit for people with severe and enduring mental health issues including schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder, and within a specialist community team assessing and supporting people with autism and learning disabilities who presented challenges to services. Her previous work also includes counselling victims of crime and working with adult offenders being supervised by the probation service.

In her clinical work, Karen uses an eclectic mix of hypnotherapy, NLP and various psychotherapy approaches. She sees clients with a wide range of issues and has a particular interest in weight management, anxiety & stress management, confidence & smoking cessation. Her clinical qualifications include a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Certificate in Hypnotherapeutic Supervision.

She also provides Mental Wealth Coaching - coaching support for business owners with mental health issues, on the Sunshine Coast and further afield on Skype.

Karen is a Clinical Member and approved Hypnotherapy Supervisor of the Australian Hypnotherapists Association and General Hypnotherapy Register, UK.
